
Julie Kozak, CPA, began her accounting career during her first year of college before graduating Magna Cum Laude from Western Washington University with a bachelor’s degree in accounting and business administration. She has nearly 40 years of experience in accounting including public accounting, private industry and the non-profit sector. Her expertise is in financial accounting and business analysis.
After spending many years doing software implementations and process improvements, Julie has developed a strong desire to eliminate wasteful activities and improve efficiencies. Her motto is to “always leave things better than I found them.” In addition to her wealth of accounting experience, Julie brings with her a passion for serving people in need, especially those experiencing poverty and coming out of incarceration.
In her role as Director of Business Administration, Julie is responsible for accounting, payroll, budgeting and human resources across all locations of St. John’s Ministries.
