St. John’s Homeless Shelter and God’s Purpose Apparel share a connection to their Christian faith that has united them in the past to be partners, including hosting Alpha groups and pancake breakfasts at our shelter and Micah Center. Their newest partnership is a t-shirt campaign where 100% of the profits from the sales benefit St. John’s during this time of the COVID-19 health crisis. “We couldn’t be more thankful to Chris and Brittany for their support during this truly unprecedented time,” said director of community engagement Alexa Priddy.
God’s Purpose Apparel is a faith-based brand that inspires change in the world and motivates
others to walk purposefully. “We are excited for our partnership and hope this fundraiser impacts our brothers and sisters at St. John’s,” said Brittany Bell of God’s Purpose Apparel.
The mission of St. John’s is to honor the dignity, restore hope and create lasting change for individuals who are homeless or at-risk in the greater Green Bay community. Since the start of the COVID-19 crisis, St. John’s has served 269 individuals, providing 24/7 shelter, meals, and safety in addition to love and support.
“The talents they have at God’s Purpose Apparel are allowing St. John’s to connect to the community and share our message in a time of some of the greatest need in our organization’s history. Each t-shirt has a different word that symbolizes the work that we do and what we try to instill in the guests we serve…hope, love and worthy. At each of our programs – St. John’s Homeless Shelter, the Micah Center and Wellspring – we seek to lift people up and walk alongside them on their journey,” Priddy says.
On Saturday, June 20, t-shirt sales will open on the God’s Purpose Apparel website for $20 per shirt and 100% of all profits benefiting St. John’s.
