On Dec. 13, six guests attended the “Just Journal” workshop at The Micah Center with Kinsey, our mental health counselor. They learned about the therapeutic benefits of journaling and various ways to journal. With journaling you can:
• Reduce your stress
• Get to know yourself better
• Clarify thoughts, feelings
• Solve problems more effectively
Guests spent ten minutes journaling, and some even shared what they had written about. All attendees set goals for how they would like to incorporate journaling into their day, were given a journal to take home, and several sheets of journaling prompts to continue journaling.
